Today I went to the Antique flea market at Candlestick park and brought home two wool crocheted blankets. One is a fairly typical granny square, it uses thin wool yarn so the squares are rather small, about 3 inches across. The other is more unique: it is made of Tunisian crochet squares that have flowers cross stitched on top. The woman who made it even added her name on a label in one corner. I have never seen one like it, although it is likely that she was following a pattern.
